The Mornas Village
The village was founded during the roman era and the fortress which overlooks it was built during the Middle Ages. It was at the height of its fame when the temporal and military power ot the archbishopric of Arles was at its peak. Mornas is located on the main north-south axis Paris-Marseille, the N7 main road crosses the village and the A7 motorway bypasses it.

If you drive from Lyon on A7 motorway, you can leave it at Bollène, which is fifteen km north of Mornas, and take N7.

If you drive from Marseille on A7 motorway, you can leave it at Orange and take N7 northwards.

As soon as you get in Mornas you must enter the center of the village in order to cross the bridge over the main road and the motorway. At the bottom of the bridge, turn right and follow the road for two km before taking the path which will lead you to Château du Grand Moulas.
